How to dye my hair with KOLORA

Step 1 Prepare the hair

To ensure an optimal effect of the hair dye, it is not necessary to wash the hair before use, just a slight moistening would be sufficient. In case you have used a hair gel, foam  or another fixing product before colouring, you should wash your hair with shampoo without using a conditioner, and gently dry it .

Step 2 Preparing the hair colour  

Unscrew the cap of the hair colour cream tube and that of the oxidizing lotion bottle. Squeeze the entire content of the colour cream tube into the oxidizing lotion bottle. Close the bottle tight and shake well until a homogeneous mixture is produced. You may prepare the mixture in a non-metal bowl as well.

Warning: The mixing ratio of hair colour and developer should always be 1:1 in a non-metal bowl.

Step 3 HAIR COLOUR APPLICATION

Put on colourist gloves and drape towel over shoulders to protect clothing. Apply a portion of the mixture onto the roots of hair separating it in strands. Start to apply the colour on the area with most grey hair. Distribute the remaining portion on the entire length of hair. Massage the mixture in until a fine lather is obtained. Use a comb to saturate hair evenly. Leave the mixture on for 30 minutes. In case of stubborn grey hairs, you could leave the mixture on for 45 minutes. To obtain a uniform colour on the entire length of hair, re-comb your hair during the last 5 minutes.

*In case you wish to touch up newly grown hair only, apply ½ of the mixture on hair roots close to the scalp separating it in strands. Leave the mixture on for 20 minutes. Apply the remaining portion of the mixture on the entire length of hair, comb and leave to develop 10 minutes longer.

Step 4 COLOUR FIXING

When time is up, rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water until water runs clear. Massage the deep therapy conditioner in gently to fix the colour and nourish the hair after colouring. Leave it on for 3-5 min. and rinse the hair again thoroughly with water.
